Launch of the Innofood Africa Project

Project Title: Locally-driven co-development of plant-based value chains towards more sustainable African food system with healthier diets and export potential

Project acronym: InnoFoodAfrica InnoFoodAfrica is a research, innovation and action project funded by the European Union H2020. It received funding from the European Union's Horizon2020 Programme for research, technological development and demonstration under Grant Agreement no 862170. The project will explore climate-smart African cereal, pulse and root crops in Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa and Uganda and develop and demonstrate optimal solutions for cultivation practices, processing and productization towards new food products, business solutions and value chains. The Uganda partners include Kulika Uganda, Makerere University, Uganda Manufacturers Association and Food & Nutrition Solutions Ltd (FONUS). CLICK HERE FOR MORE ON THIS RELEASE
