Presidency minister Mbayo loses son

The Minister for Presidency and Luuka Woman Member of Parliament Esther Mbayo, Sunday (November 29, 2020) lost her son. 

This was confirmed following her colleague's post. The minister of Gender, Labour and Social Development Frank Tumwebaze today tweeted, "Received disturbing news of the death of the son of my sister Hon. Esther Mbayo, the minister for Presidency."

He added," I express sympathies to Hon Ester Mbayo and her family; and pray that the Almighty God comforts her and the family in these painful trying moments. You have my prayers Hon Ester." 

By press time, New Vision hadn't ascertained what the son had succumbed to.  

Mbayo was appointed to her current position in June 2016, replacing Tumwebaze, who was at the time appointed to the Ministry of Information Technology and Communication; before later joining that of Gender.
