While campaigning in Karamoja, President Yoweri Museveni promised to address the nation every Sunday on the prevailing situation in the country.

This was shortly after a short wave of riots swept across parts of the country. However, it was quickly contained by security. But Museveni warned that ringleaders would face it rough.

However, the first address could not take place because of other commitments.

Museveni, also the flag bearer for the ruling National Resistance Movement, yesterday campaigned in Tororo where he opened a multi-billion modern market.

Today he will continue meeting party leaders in Bukedi sub-region.

So far, the President has traversed Luwero, Acholi, Lango, West Nile, Karamoja, Sebei, Bugisu, and Teso regions.
