Campaign Trail: Museveni in Mbale, Kyagulanyi heads to Kasese

Two candidates have no specified schedule agreed upon with the Electoral Commission

President Yoweri Museveni of the National Resistance Movement will today be in Mbale in Eastern Uganda while Robert Kyagulanyi of the National Unity Platform will head to Kasese, Bundibugyo, and Bunyangabu.

This will be Kyagulanyi's second day back on the trail, following his arrest after the incidents in Luuka district which sparked riots that left 45 dead.

According to the official campaign program, Henry Tumukunde, who is an independent is supposed to be in Maracha, Terego, Koboko, and Moyo.

Patrick Amuriat of the Forum for Democratic Change is supposed to be in Nebbi and Pakwach, John Katumba an independent candidate in Bukedia and Pallisa, and Willy Mayambala is expected in Ibanda and Kamwenge.

Mugisha Muntu will be going to Kyegegwa and Kyenjojo, where Kyagulanyi was on Monday.

Other independents Joseph Kabuleta will also be heading to Kween and Kapchorwa while Nancy Kalembe is expected to be in Yumbe and Maracha.

Other candidates have no specified schedule agreed upon with the Electoral Commission.
