FDC has no candidate in the race

Patrick Oboi Amuriat the Forum for Democratic Change presidential flagbearer on Monday urged his supporters to rally behind Gloria Aciro who is contesting for the Madi-Okollo woman MP seat.

Aciro who is running on the Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) ticket will face Joanne Aniku Okia of the ruling National Resistance Movement in the January 14, 2020 election.

Amuriat told FDC supporters during his first campaign stop of the day at Kamukamu trading centre in Madi-Okollo district that since FDC has no candidate in the race, they should throw their weight behind Aciro.

"Although we got some misunderstandings and FDC split, kindly vote for my sister Gloria Aciro who is standing on ANT ticket for Madi-Okollo woman MP," Amuriat said.

"These are people who have worked with us before and in line with the kind of cooperation that we have accepted to engage in, we are going to be supporting Gloria Aciro," he added.

Amuriat made another stop at Rhino Camp trading centre where he reiterated FDC's support for Aciro and launched the new FDC office in the area.
