By Tuesday evening, Pastor Mondo was still being detained at Wandegeya Police Station.

The latest information coming in from the Anti-Corruption Unit of State House indicates that musician Catherine Kusasira and two others have been granted Police bond in a case related to a multi-billion scam.

Kusasira, Hillary Musoke, and Assistant Commissioner of Police Godfrey Matte were released after they were summoned for questioning by Lt. Col. Edith Nakalema who heads the Unit.

However, Pastor Franklin Mondo Mugisha of the Empowerment Christian Centre Church International was not lucky to be released along with the others.

By Tuesday evening, he was still being detained at Wandegeya Police Station.

The group is helping with investigations relating to the alleged fraud of billions of shillings by Pastor Sirajje Ssemanda of the Bombo-based Revival Church.

Robert Rwakandere, a soldier who was allegedly involved in the scam, was handed over to the Special Forces Command.

About the exact amount involved in the scam, Nakalema said: "We have not yet established the total figure of the amount lost in the scam because we have continued receiving more complaints from people who say they were defrauded by the pastor."
