Scottish football manager Stephen Pritchard Geoffrey has finally landed a coaching job that he has been looking for after parting ways with FUFA Big League side Kigezi Home Boys last October.

Pritchard was unveiled by FUFA Big League side Kiboga-Mbale Heroes and will be tasked with promoting the club to the top flight, a campaign they say slipped through their hands at last month's FUFA promotional playoffs final after they lost 1-0 to Kitara FC at FUFA technical center Njeru.

"I feel honoured to be given the Kiboga-Mbale Heroes job and I expect to win promotion for the club. I promise not to let the team and area down and I will work hard to restore the Mbale Heroes name and the glory it deserves," Pritchard said.

The 49-year-old who recently secured Ugandan resident status, also had his FA Coaching level 2 with a provisional FA coaching level 3 successfully converted and equated to the CAF Grade B coaching level, which gives him the required coaching qualifications to handle a Big League team in Uganda.

The Scottish came to Uganda in 2007 under the Community Development Through Sports (CDTS) in the Rwenzori region and handled several schools and club teams in the area like King Jesus SS Mubuku and Rwenzori High, Sun City FC, and Big League side New Villa and Kigezi Home Boys.

He joins the Mbale side that just came back to football life after being relegated to 4th division last season, but bought out Kiboga Young to get back to Big League and will be renamed Mbale Heroes this coming season.
