NRM supporters in Kampala launch door to door campaigns

“We have over 20,000 youth ready to hit the communities to look for Mzee’s votes door to door.” 

National Resistance Movement (NRM) supporters in Kampala have launched door to door campaigns to garner support for their party chairman, President Yoweri Museveni, who also doubles as their Presidential flag bearer.

The launch was officiated by Farida Mayanja, the Manager, Presidential Initiative on Skilling the Girl Child, and Emmanuel Hilary Musoke, the Presidential adviser on Markets. 

During thee launch, Mayanja and the team exhibited dedication towards the party saying that even if the President is in the North meeting with different NRM leaders in regards to campaigns, the teams in Kampala are on ground mobilizing for 100% votes come 2021.

She praised the President for starting the Presidential Initiative on Skilling the Girl Child Project which has seen over 20,000 youth acquire technical skills.

"We have over 20,000 youth ready to hit the communities to look for Mzee's votes door to door," Mayanja said.

Musoke said the teams involved in door to door campaigning have all been provided with face masks and NRM T-Shirts, and also advised to obey the Ministry of Health's directives on Covid-19 and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
