KAMPALA - Patrick Amuriat Oboi has acquired a state of art new pickup bought to him by a mysterious tycoon who watched him debating on one of the local TV talk show and got impressed.

Ronald Muhinda, an aide to Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) former President Kizza Besigye confessed that after the show, the tycoon excitedly telephoned Amuriat through emissaries and instructed him to go to Cooper Motors and get a pickup for the party.

Muhinda revealed that the tycoon said, "That is my contribution to the struggle."

He also noted that all the necessary documentation was done and FDC now owns a brand new Mazda Pick Up because of the intellectual capabilities of the Villager (Amuriat) from Teso.

The vehicle has since been branded by Amuriat portraits and is being used for Presidential campaigns.

Amuriat is among the 11 Presidential candidates who were nominated early this week by the Electoral Commission to contest in the January 14 Presidential elections.
