Police vehicle accident victim seeks compensation

“I appeal to the Government to come to my rescue, because I am no longer productive. I don’t want to look like a beggar before my children and friends,” Karakure added.

Canon Benjamin Karakure Nsheka, a resident of Mbarara district, is seeking compensation from the Government after he was hit by a Police vehicle, in an accident that left him incapacitated.



Karakure, 72, a resident of Kihindi cell, Kakoba ward in Mbarara, on December 24, 2016 was allegedly knocked down by a Police vehicle, while offloading items from the boot of his car at his hotel on Buremba Road in Mbarara town.

 

 

"I appeal to the Government to come to my rescue, because I am no longer productive. I don't want to look like a beggar before my children and friends," Karakure added.
