Vipers sign Congolese forward Manzoki Lobi

Manzoni's arrival is likely to be a replacement for forward Fahad Bayo who left the club to join Israel's Ashdod SC.

Vipers have strengthened their striking force with the signing of Congolese forward Cesar Manzoki Lobi.

Manzoni's arrival is likely to be a replacement for forward Fahad Bayo who left the club to join Israel's Ashdod SC.

The 24-year-old signed a two-year deal.

"I am so happy to be here. I want to use this chance well. My dream is to become an important player for Vipers," stated Manzoki.

His first touch, passes are his strength and he can also shoot with both feet.

Manzoki joins the Venoms after parting ways with the Congolese side AS Vita which he played for since 2017. At AS Vita, he scored 38 goals from 58 appearances.

Manzoki also featured for TP Mazembe between 2016 - 2017 scoring 12 goals in 21 appearances.

He becomes the sixth signing for Vipers after Sudanese Joseph Dhata, David Bagoole, Ibrahim Orit, Disan Galiwango, and Jamil Kaliisa

With the league champions scheduled to compete on five fronts namely the CAF Champions League, Uganda Premier League, Uganda Cup, FUFA Super 8, and FUFA Super Cup, the club news strengthen in all departments.
