Police have urged politicians to turn to the Law for protection whenever they are dissatisfied instead of provoking officers on duty.

The public relations officer of the Criminal Investigations Department of the Police, Charles Twine, said some politicians have started telling police management to stock up on tear gas ahead of the political rallies during the campaigns.

He warned politicians to be law abiding and respect the guidelines of the Electoral Commission as expected of leaders.

Twine called upon those who applied to join the Ugand1 Police Force, to make sure they check for their names at their respective districts. He announced that the interviews will be conducted November 5-7, 2020.
