Health ministry's PRO tests positive for COVID-19

In a tweet to his followers, Ainebyoona confirmed his positive status noting that he had been admitted in Mulago National Referral hospital and was responding well to treatment.

KAMPALA - Emmanuel Ainebyoona, the Ministry of Health Senior Public relations Officer, has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a tweet to his followers, Ainebyoona confirmed his positive status noting that he had been admitted in Mulago National Referral hospital and was responding well to treatment.

I am currently receiving treatment at Mulago Hospital after testing COVID-19 positive.

In an interview with the New Vision, Ainebyoona noted that he was feeling a fever and has a dry cough. He decided to go to the hospital for a COVID-19 test. "Tests carried out confirmed I was COVID-19 positive and immediately I was started on treatment and quarantined."
He also noted that the Ministry of health was tracing his contacts.
