Kyengera traders count losses as fire destroys lock-ups

Fire started at about 3am and spread across the lock-ups, destroying property worth millions of shillings.
Traders in Kyengera, Wakiso district are counting losses after several lock-ups were destroyed by an early morning fire on Thursday.
The destroyed lock-ups included those dealing in vehicle spare parts, mobile money shops, and electronics among others.
Eyewitnesses said the fire started at around 3am and spread across the lock-ups located in Kyengera Central, Kyengera Town Council.
The cause of the fire is not yet known and by the time filing this story the Police were yet to reach the scene.
