DOKOLO- The Uganda People's Congress (UPC) party held primary elections in Dokolo North Constituency, Dokolo district for the flagbearer.

The party's Dokolo district registrar, Tom Okello, said they had elections in every sub-county in Dokolo North.

He noted that the aspirants in Dokolo South were unopposed.

Okello said every subcounty had a designated polling station and voters came from every parish.

Okello announced Francis Ojok as the winner, after polling 423 votes against Christopher Orech's 18 votes.

However, Orech raised concerns over what he called the delay in displaying the voters register.

The chairperson of the UPC party in Dokolo North constituency, Richard Okao, however, refuted the allegations, saying both aspirants operated under the same conditions.
