MITYANA - The National Resistance Movement village chairpersons have been urged to mobilise for more support of the party ahead of the general election.
The information and technology minister, Judith Nabakooba, urged the chairpersons during a ceremony to hand over bicycles to the village party chairpersons in Mityana district.
John Kintu, the party district chairperson, said they must also look for those who were shying away from the party and encourage them to remain supportive of NRM. Over 600 bicycles were handed over to the village chairpersons.
