The Anglican Bishop of Mityana Diocese, Dr James Bukomeko, has spoken highly of the marriage of Charity and Fred Kigozi Yiga referring to it as "exemplary and highly inspiring."

He praised the couple for their disposition of mutual love and companionship, which he said was the secret of their success.

"Our friends Charity and Fred have helped us to see the beauty of marriage through their love and commitment to each other. They have always been there for each other. They have worked together and elevated their family.  Their home is full of joy and harmony. We thank them for exercising responsible parenting. We also thank them for being supportive to the Church and its ministers."

Bukomeko was delivering his homily during the thanksgiving service for the 25th marriage anniversary of Charity and Fred Kigozi Yiga at St. Paul's Cathedral Namirembe, last week.

Charity and Fred are prominent electronics traders based in Kampala. They started their love affair in Fort Portal, where they had gone for their tertiary education, in the 90s. They wedded at Namirembe Cathedral, in 1995 and subsequently established their marital home at Kanyanya, in Kawempe Division.

Charity and Fred attributed their success in marriage to the love and support that each had given the other since they started their relationship.
