Bishop-elect Baluku opens up on his 33-year-long marriage

The Bishop-elect of the Church of Uganda Diocese of South Rwenzori, Canon Nason Baluku (53) has been successful in his priestly ministry as well as in marriage.

He has lived with his wife Jane Biira (51) for the last 33 years, during which God has lavished the couple with significant blessings, most remarkably the gift of seven wonderful children.

Their journey to success has nonetheless not been an easy one. They started their marital life in poverty. In fact, subsequent to their wedding, they slept in a grass-thatched house for several years.
