Per admission list released on Tuesday by the office of the academic registrar, 14,298 students were admitted through direct entry while 139 on mature-age entry. The 101 are international students.

The university is still closed as the country fights the spread of COVID-19 and the institution is not yet sure on how it will alert the students according to the university deputy registrar in charge of undergraduate admissions and records, Charles Sentongo.

Complaints against non-admission will be received by the administration effective August 20.

According to the University Vice Chancellor, Prof.Barnabus Nawangwe, the admission process has been extended three times to ensure that nobody is left behind.
