11 Congolese arrested over illegal entry

According to the police report, the 11 Congolese from South Kivu were travelling from Kisoro to Kampala in two separate buses.

The police in Rubanda district on Saturday intercepted 11 Congolese nationals who had entered Uganda through porous entry points.
According to the police report, the 11 Congolese from South Kivu were travelling from Kisoro to Kampala in two separate buses, Baby coach no UAU 522L and Malayika no UBB 992AL before they were intercepted.
Of the eleven, only four were adults.
Due to COVID-19, Rubanda district taskforce recommended the 11 be repatriated back to Congo before they mix up with Ugandan nationals.
