Vipers new signing Ibrahim Orit has promised to help his new club dominate Ugandan football.

"Vipers is a winning team and joining when they're champions brings another dimension. Therefore, I won't rest on my laurels as I have to continue the team's winning mentality. Further to that, I am eyeing a professional career after Vipers," stated Orit.

Orit who signed a three-year deal from Mbarara City also said its great honour to work with Vipers coach Fred Kajoba.

"He is a good coach who at times takes it to the level of acting as a father and I have already experienced it with him with the national team. I expect a good working relationship with him here at Vipers," he added.

"I know they rate me highly after my good times with Mbarara City. Therefore I will do my best to keep up the standards and make them happy," noted Orit when asked what Vipers fans should expect from him.

Orit joins Disan Galiwango and Jamil Kaliisa as Vipers' new signings.

The 22-year-old was one the bright spots of Mbarara City's season guiding them to the seventh in the Uganda Premier League with four goals to his name.

Coach Fred Kajoba hopes that Orit can provide the solution to his side's wing areas which had proved wanting in recent times. His arrival will surely reignite Allan Kayiwa, who is yet to fulfil his potential at Kitende.

With Vipers expected to be busy next season (competing in the CAF Champions League, Uganda Premier League, and Uganda Cup) strengthening their squad is one of the things they have to do if they are to compete favourably.
