Security personnel concerned as floods displace more people

Over 5,000 people in Masaka district have been affected in the latest floods, while a total of 778 homesteads in just one district in Northern Uganda have been displaced.

The rising water levels in the lakes and rivers across the country have displaced thousands of people, according to the joint security taskforce on COVID-19.
 
Over 5,000 people in Masaka district have been affected in the latest floods, while a total of 778 homesteads in just one district in Northern Uganda have been displaced by the increasing water levels.
