Four new COVID-19 cases push number to 126

“The new cases include: 2 Ugandans, 1 Kenyan who arrived via Elegu and 1 Tanzanian who arrived via Mutukula border,” the ministry said.
Four new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Uganda on Tuesday night, pushing the total number of confirmed cases to 126.
The Ministry of Health announced that the four new cases were all of truck drivers who were among the 1,478 samples taken from cross-border cargo transporters.
"The new cases include: 2 Ugandans, 1 Kenyan who arrived via Elegu and 1 Tanzanian who arrived via Mutukula border," the ministry said.
"All 233 community samples have tested negative for COVID-19. Total samples tested today: 1711," the ministry added.
The new results were released hours after regional presidents agreed to share information concerning COVID-19 results taken from the truck drivers.
