Uganda COVID-19 cases pass 100

According to the Ministry of Health, the new case was confirmed from the 3,091 samples of truck drivers tested yesterday.

KAMPALA - On Thursday, Uganda confirmed one new case of COVID-19 bringing the number of cases to 101. The case is a 32-year-old Tanzanian truck driver who arrived from Tanzania via Mutukula border.

According to the Ministry of Health, the new case was confirmed from the 3,091 samples of truck drivers tested yesterday. All the 718 community samples tested negative.

The total number of samples tested is 3,809. The total number of discharges stands at 55 with zero deaths.
