KINDNESS
KAMPALA - Students of Aga Khan Education service recently celebrated their second edition of acts of kindness.
The celebration that was conducted under the theme, emphasizing character was held at Aga Khan education service primary section in Kampala.
The function included a number of activities like appreciating one's favourite teacher, leaving someone a nice note, and complimenting someone, among other activities on the student's checklist.

While on the teachers' checklist were activities like giving someone a gift for no reason, talking to a student you have never talked to, reaching out to staff you ordinarily don't talk to, among other activities.
The week is usually celebrated a week before Valentine's Day to show acts of kindness instead of coupling and other acts of love.
Beatrice Langariti, the career and guidance counselor said I chose to emphasize kindness over Valentine in order to create a conducive environment for learning and I hope that there will be great stories of people looking back.
