Notice from Ministry of Health

1. The Government of Uganda represented by the Ministry of Health received a loan from the International Development Association towards the cost of Uganda Reproductive Maternal and Child Health Services Improvement Project (URMCHIP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan for the Construction of Maternity Units in Selected Districts in Uganda under 06 (Six) Lots. 
2. The Ministry of Health now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of Maternity Units in Selected Districts in Uganda under 06 (Six) Lots. The Lots are indicated in item number 6 below. The construction period will be 12 (Twelve) months. Margin of Preference shall apply. 
3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers (Standard Bidding Document for Procurement of Works further updated in January 2020) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.
