State minister for sports Hamson Obua has praised the Uganda Swimming Federation for being stable and wrangle free.

"I want to salute the swimming federation for being one of the stable national Sports federation we have in the country," Obua said.

"It does not surprise me that the new chairperson of the National Council of Sports came from this federation, Dr. Donald Rukare."
