Trademark who are second in the league, came from a set down to defeat Trail Blazers 5-8 8-1 and 8-5 to reduce the point gap between them and the leaders Warriors to six.

Trademark Dimonation continued to pile more pressure on table leaders PTC Warriors following their 2-1 victory over Trail Blazers in the Kampala Premier Tennis over the weekend at Lugogo Tennis complex.

Trademark who are second in the league, came from a set down to defeat Trail Blazers 5-8 8-1 and 8-5  to reduce the point gap between them and the leaders Warriors to six.

The league that is in its third season has seen the game of tennis grow and also improve on the level of competitiveness among players.

Elsewhere, Game changers lost 8-5 8-6 8-0 to Titans, while Lugogo Boys were 2-1(8-1 5-8 8-0) winners over Lorika.

Despite the victory, Lugogo Boys remained  bottom of the table with 24 points just like Lorika that who are second last.

The objective of the league was to promote the game of tennis to different stakeholders and according to Moses Bashaasha, the organising committee chairman, the objective has partially been achieved.

The league that involves seven teams with each comprised of eight players with at least one junior player and a lady will have the top four teams engaging in playoffs after the preliminary rounds.

Trademark cruised past Trail Blazers to clinch the second edition of the League at Lugogo last season.
