Motocross: Wekesa, Ssentamu and Orland acquire new bikes

Kylan Wekesa, Fortune Ssentamu, and Stav Orland have raised the bar a notch higher in the build-up to the opening round of the Motorcycling Association of Uganda (MAU) Challenge Series next Sunday in Busiika, Luweero.
 
The three riders have all acquired KTM 2020 model bikes unlike their rivals Ali Omar, Malcolm Lubega and Wazir Omar who will use 2019 models.
 
The opening round of the Motorcycling Association of Uganda (MAU) Challenge Series next Sunday in Busiika promises to be a mouth-watering showdown especially in the MX125cc class.

Ssentamu, Ali Omar and Wazir Omar who had intense battles in the MX125cc class last season have new rivals in daring riders Kylan, Stav and Lubega.
 
Wekesa and Ssentamu are fresh from Nairobi where they put up excellent performances in the Kenya championship.
 
Stav and Alon are in South Africa training and will this weekend compete in the South Africa Championship before returning home to showcase what they have for the
crowd.
 
"We know it is going to be a tight season, but we are training hard and focused on the national title this season," Darbella Apolot mother to Fortune Ssentamu said.

In a bid to have quality competitions, the organiser has waved off the training fees and riders are having regular training to improve on their skills ahead of the event.
 
"Because we are going to compete for prizes, we want riders to get used to the redesigned track to be able to give fans value for their money," The event coordinator Peter Ndiwalana said.
 
The event supported by Kampala Executive Aviation, Excel Lubes, Molecule, Coca-Cola and Vision Group under the Urban TV brand will have riders win big prizes and cash.
