Hundreds grace Reach out Mbuya's charity run

A cumulative total of 11,000 have benefited from the organisation's child-support educational programme over the years.

CHARITY

KAMPALA - Children are among the hundreds of people who have defied the heavy rain and graced the charity run that was organised by Reach Out Mbuya Parish HIV/AIDS Initiative (ROM), to raise funds that will support orphans and vulnerable children to get an uninterrupted quality education. 

The organisation currently caters for over 900 needy children under its child-support programme.

A cumulative total of 11,000 have benefited from the organisation's child-support educational programme over the years.

The charity-run, which took place at the headquarters of the organisation in Mbuya on Saturday (November 7), was also graced by Engineer Alex Gasaaga (from National Water and Sewerage Corporation), who donated sh3m to the organisation.

The Executive Director of Reach Out Mbuya,  Josephine Kaleebi, thanked the participants for their support and goodwill towards the organisation.
