Museveni tips on fitness 

President Yoweri Museveni took the public through some fitness drills at Kalolo Independence Grounds in Kampala after the Anti-corruption walk. 
 
The walk attracted a number of government officials including Deputy Speaker Jacob Oulanyah, Chief Justice Bart Katureebe , IGG Justice Irene Mulyagonja, State House Anti-corruption unit head, Lt. EASF officials meet in Kampala

"East African Standby Force (EASF) financial shape is not good," EASF Director Abdillahi Omar said during the third day of the week-long policy and planning meeting in Kampala. Omar added that most members have not contributed financially in 2019. They urged members to contribute so that the EASF operations move on smoothly. By Maria Wamala

Youths cautioned against violence during elections

 "You must be agents of peace irrespective of the political affiliations. Violence and insecurity know no political party. Do not accept to be used as agents of chaos. Be tolerant with each other," Bugiri Municipality MP Asuman Basalirwa cautioned youths. He made the remarks during the youth public dialogue ahead of the international celebrations of human rights in Kampala.

Daniel Kidega, a member of Council Makerere University was the guest of honor. He urged the youths desist from considering politics a means of employment saying that it is overly subscribed. "Diversify the fight against unemployment. Corporate governance, entrepreneurship, and civil society are a good option. Politics is overly subscribed. Ugandans walk against corruption


President Museveni has joined the general public and walked a distance of roughly four kilometres from the Constitutional Square in the heart of Kampala city to Kololo Independence Grounds against corruption. He has been joined by government, religious, traditional and civil society leaders.
