Kabushenga tips graduands

Kabushenga was backed by the visiting Professor Mathanna Thimmiya from Bangalore India, who told graduands to set long term goals and also be prepared to change cause as circumstances dictate.

Robert Kabushenga, the chief executive officer and Managing Director of Vision Group who was a chief guest has advised graduands to exercise honesty, discipline and never give up if they are to succeed in life. 

He was speaking during the 12th graduation ceremony of ISBAT University after acquiring a charter from the National Council of Higher Education (NCHE).

 

A total of 302 graduands were awarded degrees and certificates.

"Never give up, persist, work hard and put extra effort until it's done. Many people give up so quickly," Kabushenga told graduands and guests.

He outlined other attributes the new graduates should value such as setting there goals in what they want to become in life, being organised, curious to ask questions, being focused and reading widely.

 

He narrated his story on how he started being a newspaper inserter before becoming a managing director and therefore, they can also make it in life by putting extra efforts.

The chancellor of ISBAT University Fred Omach implored the new graduates to have a positive attitude towards life and have plans if they are to be successful.

He thanked President Yoweri Museveni for signing the charter saying it's a great milestone for the university. 

Dr. Gonzalo Wandosell, the dean of faculty of law and business at Catholic University of Murcia, Spain told new graduates not to loose sight of there vision and being passionate about what they are doing.

 

"Try again, keep going and hold on to your values. Never give up," Dr. Gonzalo said.
