Safe Boda joins MTN Marathon

Safe Boda will not only be ready to ride tired legs back home but they will also be part of the runners that will participate in this year's MTN Kampala Marathon due on Sunday at Kololo.

They will field 50 of their motorists to run alongside the thousands of runners expected to throng the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds to run for a good cause.

Safe Boda Head of Marketing Eunice Among yesterday received the kit from MTN marketer Barbara Kiwanuka at their offices in Kamwokya as excited staff warmed up for the Sunday event.

"We have doubled the number this year, first of all, because we are encouraging fitness but also because this year's reason for running really resides and resonates with what we are about, which is community; so it excites us that we are sending people to run for the cause that we are deeply interested and we are super excited to be involved," Among stated.

The theme for this year is: "Run for a good reason" with all proceeds going towards the improvement of maternal health in all Health Center 1V's across the country.
