Best African Entertainer Award winner Edirisa Musuuza popularly known as Eddy Kenzo has said President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni was chosen by God for a reason.

‘Sitya Loss' hit maker said for this and many other reasons he could not look away from his invite to meet and dine with him at the State House Entebbe.

"I feel blessed that I met the President. This will inspire other unprivileged children to know that they can be successful one day," he explained.

The BET award-winner dismissed claims that different people fostered his visit to President Museveni, saying it is because of his contribution to the country that the President invited him.

He said he is not a politician, but a citizen, saying he supports Bobi Wine as a brother.

"I will not campaign for Bobi Wine or any other politicians. I don't want to be accountable when they fail to deliver," he said.

Love affairs
Kenzo said he is willing to put on his Kanzu and attend Rema Namakula and Hamuza Ssebunya's introduction ceremony if invited.

He said no one knows Rema like he does, adding that he has spent five years with her eating and sleeping with her.

His security
Kenzo asked the government to avail him with guards, saying his life is being threatened by unknown people.

"If the government knows that I am an asset to the country, they should give me security as my life is threatened," he said.

Kenzo said since he met the President, unknown people, especially on social media, have been threatening to kill him on claims that he has betrayed them.

Performing in Uganda
Kenzo said after forgiving Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata for what he termed as insulting him, he decided to continue with his performances in the country.

"Why should all my fans suffer for mistakes one person committed," he asked.

While at singer Rema's kukyala recently, Sheikh Muzaata congratulated Rema on getting a marriage partner,  saying she had escaped ‘Love Niggas'.

Muzaata further said men who compare their girls to their mothers should go and marry their mothers, words Kenzo felt were directed to him.

Kenzo had threatened not to perform in Uganda until Sheikh Muzaata apologises to him, a wish he did not get.
