It was a splendid day with breath taking performance back to back as Rotaractors and guests brought out exhilarating dance moves that left the audience yearning for more.

Blessed with good weather Saturday afternoon was a blaze at Kati Kati Resturant, Lugogo during the BreakALeg dance competition organized by the Rotaract Club of Kampala Central as the dancers where eyeing the sh1.5m.

James Sonko, the vice-president of the club, said BreakALeg is an annual dance competition and fundraiser for the Rotaract Club of Kampala Central aimed at helping the needy and the less privileged. 

"This 12th Edition of the fundraiser is aimed at soliciting funds for a 3-year project at Adak Primary School in Omoro District to address the challenges of Basic Education and Literacy, Disease prevention and treatment as well as water and sanitation," said Fatumah Semujju the president of the club.

She also added "we aim at providing durable and adequate infrastructure for at least 800 pupils and to increase enrolment by 40% and efficiency by 60% through equipping the classroom blocks with quality modern learning aids".

The event climaxed in jubilation mood as the Rotaract club of Lake Victoria came in first position walking away with 500,000/=, the Rotaract club of Kyambogo University as first runner up taking 300,000/= , the Rotaract club of Nangabo as second runner up getting 200,000/= and Smash dance group received 500,000/=.
