64th CPC: Museveni hosts delegates at State House

President Museveni delightfully tells his guests to continue enjoying their stay in Uganda and urges them to visit more places of interest around the country.

64TH COMMONWEATLH PARLIAMENTARY CONFERENCE

ENTEBBE - President Yoweri Museveni hosted heads of delegations of the 64th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference to a dinner at State House in Entebbe, during which he appreciated them for their work and deliberations done at the week-long event.

 
The conference, which Uganda is hosting for a second time, got under way last Sunday and will conclude this Sunday. Saturday is the last day of meetings and workshops, with delegates discussing how different legislatures carry out the oversight function.

On Friday, President Museveni delightfully told his guests to continue enjoying their stay in Uganda and urged them to visit more places of interest that the Pearl of Africa has on offer.

On Wednesday, delegates spent most of their day on the road checking out different locations, including the Buganda king's palace, the Equator, Kagulu Hill and the Source of the Nile.
