Team Elephant thrashed team Kibobo 15-3 in the final of the Guinness 5-a-side soccer tournament at Fast Sports Fusion in industrial area.
The Elephants first whipped Vision Group before eliminating Roko Construction FC 5-2 in a tightly contested semi-final.
In the other semi-final, Kibobo beat Park FC 3-2 to book a place in final which they lost 15-3 to the Elephants.
"It has been a successful event with many teams participating and we promise a bigger and better-organised event next year," Fast Sports Fusion Manager Henry Khalisa said.
Over sixteen teams including Vision group, Uganda Breweries, Elephants, Guinness, Kobobo and Roko Construction FC participated.
Vision Group's Julius Ssenyimba attributed his team's defeat to lack of poor preparation.
"We could have won that tournament but our fitness levels were wanting especially in the last games. We beat all our opponents in the group stages but at the knockout stage, we were not fit enough to counter, the young energetic team of Elephants that train every day," Ssenyimba said.
