KCCA Director Treasury resigns

His resignation comes three months after the resignation of the director legal affairs, Charles Ouma.

Julius Raymond Kabugo, the acting director of Treasury Services at Kampala Capital City Authority has resigned.
 
He tendered in his resignation on July 10 and it will be effective on August 9, 2019.
 
Appearing before the city council meeting recently, Kabugo who is also the deputy director treasury services said that he made the decision to resign because he 'felt he needed a break'.
 
"I am not under pressure or influence. I have served KCCA for the last eight years and done all that was asked of me as a professional accountant," he said.
 
His resignation comes three months after the resignation of the director legal affairs, Charles Ouma.
 
He becomes the 10th key person in the authority to resign. Others include the former executive director, Jennifer Musisi who resigned in 2018 and her deputy Dr. Judith Tukahirwa, Daniel Kyambadde the director treasury services, Fred Andema (director revenue collection), Martin Kiiza (manager in charge of drainage), Dr David Sseruka (director public health), Jennifer Kaggwa (director human resource), and Dr Jeremy Ntambi (manager in the directorate of engineering and technical service).
