His siblings Aviv siblings Stav and Alon Orland are continuing with their training programs

MX125cc class rider Aviv Orland has been ruled out of the FIM Motocross of Africa Nations Championship (FIMOAN) next month in Zimbabwe after the youngster fractured his leg during training in California, USA.

The 16-year-old fractured the fibula and tibia bones for the second time in his career which has ruled him out of the continental showpiece due August 30 to September 1.

His mother Evas Orland confirmed the development saying he will be out of action for some time to enable him fully recover.

"We are through with the first operation on both bones and doctors will be examining him as we monitor the recovery feedback," she said.

"After another session with doctors, we shall now be able to know the time he will spend out of action, but we are confident he will come back bigger and stronger" she added.

His siblings Aviv siblings Stav and Alon Orland are continuing with their training programs and are expected to return to the country next weekend before traveling to Zimbabwe where Alon will be defending his 85cc title.
