Notice from Ministry of Agriculture

1. The Government of the Republic of Uganda secured a loan from International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) through the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) under the Vegetable Oil Development Project Phase Two (VODP 2). It intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to cover eligible payments for construction of 17 stores spread across West Nile, Northern Uganda and Eastern Uganda.
2. The entity invites sealed bids from interested, eligible and competent firms for provision of the above works as indicated above. 
3. The bidding process will be conducted in accordance with the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as contained in the Government of Uganda's Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders in Uganda.
