MUSEVENI          LUANDA      KAGAME

President Yoweri Museveni is in  Luanda, the Capital of Angola at the invitation of President Joao Lourenco of Angola for one-day Quadripartite Summit.

Two other leaders Paul Kagame of Rwanda and, Felix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of Congo are attending the Summit expected to highlight, among others, issues of the security situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Uganda.

The heads of States will also discuss the Ebola crisis in Eastern Congo. According to the World Health Organization report, Ebola in Eastern DRC has to-date claimed over 1,600 people.

President Museveni travelled to Luanda this morning. At Entebbe International Airport, he was seen off by Presidency Minister, Esther Mbayo, Deputy Chief of Defence Forces, Lt. Gen. Wilson Mbadhi, Assistant Inspector General of Police, Andrew Sorowen and Acting Director of Human Resource in the Uganda Prisons Service, David Ahimbisibwe.
