Brian Umony tips youth on success

The Umony foundation gave out mother kits to all pregnant women in KCCA Bukoto health Centre, cleaned the hospital wards, compound and the nearby community.

 
Former KCCA player Brian Umony has cautioned youngsters to always be patient if they to succeed in the future.
 
Umony was speaking at the conclusion of the Bukoto Give back event held over the weekend that was organized through his foundation - Brian Umony Foundation.
 
"You have to be patient to succeed. But to succeed you have to work hard to achieve it. So when we organise such events, it gives you hope that you too can be stars in the future," noted Umony.
 
The former Express player revealed that areas such as Naguru, Bukoto, and Kamwokya are breeding places for talent and hence there was a need to reach out to these kids to help nurture their talents.

Umony together with fellow players Savio Kabugo, Ivan Bukenya and Baker Lukoya also conducted a football clinic to train some selected players of a community select team in Mulimira area of Bukoto,
 
The selected players were also given football equipment such as soccer balls, jerseys, training bibs, shoes, and other football related items. They also carried out career guidance sessions to all participants to help them make better choices in the future.
