Hundreds grace Nkozi Hospital marathon

In the last three years, Nkozi hospital has raised sh480m of the sh7b required to the emergency complex.

Hundreds of Ugandans on Saturday turned up for the marathon organised for raising funds to establish emergency accident facilities of Nkozi Hospital.

 
The 4th edition of the Nkozi charity marathon kicked off at the equator in Kayabwe, Mpigi and ended at Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi.

 
The chief runner was Centenary Bank Managing Director, Fabian Kasi, and the marathon was flagged off by Buganda minister, Mahmood Thobani.

 

 
It was graced by the retired bishop of Masaka, John Baptist Kaggwa, Prince David Wasajja, Vicar General of Kampala Archdiocese, Msgr Charles Kasibante, vice-chancellor of Nkozi University, Prof. John C. Maviiri, priests, nuns, and many friends of Nkozi Hospital.
