Midfielder Solomon Okwalinga from Onduparaka is the latest player to join the team.

Mbarara City is looking to better last season's fifth finish in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League with new signings.

The Western-based side has signed three new players for specifically that mission.

Midfielder Solomon Okwalinga from Onduparaka is the latest player to join them.

The former Synergy and KCCA midfielder has signed a two-year deal

Okwalinga, who also featured for the Ankole Lions prior to his transfer to KCCA joins his former teammate at Onduparaka, Gadafi Gadinho.

The attacking midfielder also completed a move to the Western giants last week.  Defender Bashir Muweesi who guided Katwe United to the playoffs is another player they have signed.

But the trio will be confirmed as their players when the transfer windows open on July 1.

They hope to bring in more signings before the 2019/2020 season gets underway away in the first week of September.
