Kwesi, FUFA part ways

The Ghanaian has only been in charge for 62 days
National soccer governing body FUFA and Samuel Fabin Kwesi the head coach of the national U17 and U20 teams have parted ways.
"FUFA is happy with the work done by Kwesi in the period he has been in Uganda. However, a request by the coach to go and handle family matters back home and thus not being able to continue with the job, saw the executive consent to his request," read a statement from FUFA.
Kwesi was in charge of the Uganda U17 team which participated in the AFCON finals in Tanzania in April.
The Ghanaian who has only been in charge for 62 days since his appointment on March 20th reportedly had his contract terminated after failing to guide the U17s to the FIFA U17 World Cup to be played September in Brazil.
The head coach position remains vacant until a new coach is announced but the deputies Jackson Magera and Hamza Lutalo as well as the goalkeeping coach Mubarak Kiberu, are still part of the U17 setup.
60-year-old Kwesi who guided Ghana's U17 team to the quarterfinals of the 2017 U17 World Cup in India had signed a one year deal.
