Uganda needing 168, Zephania Arinaitwe and Hamu Kayondo combined for a commendable 30, a score that arrived after a combined 26 balls. At this point, with their aggressive approach, it looked like the board was moving in the desired direction before they were out caught.
In the latter stages of the game, Uganda played more cautiously which meat the scoreboard would get stuck at undesirable figures.
Tailenders Emmanuel Isaneez and Charles Waiswa forced a combined 21 runs on the way to 125, a score that was not sufficient enough to undermine Namibia's 167 courtesy of Karl Birkenstock's brutal half ton of 59 from 28 balls.
