Ivan Nedelko continued with his impressive performance by winning Futures 1 of the ongoing UGPRO World Tennis Tour at Lugogo.

The Russian put up a dominant display with 6-2 6-4 victory over Simon Carr (Ireland) in the F1 Futures final.

Nedelko, who has a career-high ATP singles ranking of 238 achieved on 11 June 2018, also has a career-high ATP doubles ranking of 674 achieved on 16 June 2014.

Elsewhere, East African pair of Guy Iradukunda from Burundi and Kenya's Ismael Changawa defeating India's Kunal Anand and Prajwal Dev 6-1,7-5 in the doubles final.

This is the second year Uganda is hosting the Pro tennis Circuit since being readmitted to the International Tennis Federation (ITF) The Pro Circuit also helps to promote and encourage participation in the sport by bringing high-quality tennis to enthusiastic domestic audiences.

Over 50 World class players from different countries are taking part in the three weeks tennis action that has given the local players a chance to expose themselves.
