Kenya to send 11 man motocross team

According to Kenya Motorsport Foundation chairman Renzo Benard, only 11 riders will be traveling to Uganda for the competition

Kenya has announced a strong 11 man team that will be out to challenge Uganda in the first round of the FIM Central Africa Motocross Championship (FIM CAC) on Easter Sunday in Busiika, Luwero district.
 
According to Kenya Motorsport Foundation chairman Renzo Benard, only 11 riders will be traveling to Uganda for the competition with a target of winning podiums in all the categories that include MX125, MX85cc, and MX65cc class.
 
They include Natalie Kandi, Wahome Mutahi, Nathaniel Livondo (65cc), Alex Kandie, Peter Magwa, Dekker Kihara (85cc) Tai Wahome, Samuel Magwa, Rolf Kihara and Alex Moi (125cc).
 
However, team captain Maxime Van pee has scoffed at them saying that they will face the wrath of his team.
 
"We are ready for them and we are going for a bigger margin win," Maxime said.
 
Uganda will enter a team of over forty riders.
 
Maxime will lead the MX1 class, Aviv Orland, Wazir Omar, and Fortune Ssentamu will lead team Uganda in the MX125cc class, while Africa champion Stav Orland will lead team Uganda in the 85cc class that includes Amos Wekesa, Waleed Omar, Akena Obote, Akaki Obote, and others.
 
Alon Orland, Gift Ssebuguzi, Kriedah Nsubuga, Isabella Blick and Shamira Kateete will form team Uganda 65cc class while William Blick, Miguel Katende, Ramathan Mubiru will lead team Uganda in the 65cc class.
 
The event is co-sponsored by Mountain Dew, vision group under the Urban tv brand, Molecules solutions, and Uganda Motocross Arena Busiika.
