Are you the kind who has fancied the popular America's Got Talent? Good news for you. A replica of the reality TV show is here in name of East Africa's Got Talent.
 
Whether it will interest you more or not, we can only guess. But what is obvious is, according to the producers - Clouds Media International, the show will cast local performers in East Arica.
 

 

 
At the launch at Kampala Serena Hotel on Wednesday, the producers announced that the inaugural season of the show will kick off auditions in Kenya in early May, before they move to Uganda on May 19.
 
As the famous America's Got Talent, this will be open to performers of any kind, including singer, dancers, instrumentalists, magicians, comedians and novelty acts. Comedian Anne Kansiime has been announced as the host.

The show, which is part of Got Talent Franchise started in 2014 by Simon Cowell, will see acts ranging from the sublime to the ridiculous battle it out for chance to be crowned as "the most talented East African."
 
The grand finale will see the winner l walk away with USD 50,000 (Ush 186, 967, 500). As voted by the audience.
 

 

 
"Got Talent" is the world's most successful reality TV format ever and has since spawned spin offs in over 60 countries. The Got Talent format has had millions of global viewers since it began airing in 2006 and has aired in 194 countries worldwide.
