Museveni, Tshisekedi hold bilateral talks

President Yoweri Museveni on Friday evening received and held talks with the newly elected Democratic Republic Congo (DRC) counterpart, Felix Tshisekedi at State House, Entebbe. 

Tshisekedi took office on January 24 in the first peaceful transition of power in DR Congo since it became independent from Belgium in 1960. 

The DRC President, on a one-day working visit to Uganda and his host, discussed trade, security and bilateral relations between the two neighbouring countries.

Museveni later hosted Tshisekedi to a dinner.
